  • Dress to celebrate! We would love to see colorful, whimsical looks that feel elevated, springy, and ready to party. Think garden party vibes with personality. Dresses or skirts of any length, as well as polos, button downs, or suit jackets, are all welcome. Cowboy boots are absolutely welcome too. The ceremony will be outdoors, so we suggest choosing footwear suitable for grass and outdoor paths, and keeping an eye on the weather, as Texas can change quickly.

  • We have access to Wild Roots from Friday at noon through Sunday at noon, and the property will be open to all guests during that time. Guests are welcome to come and go and enjoy the space throughout the weekend.

    Amenities include a pickleball court, sand volleyball court, heated cowboy pools, walking trails, a fishing pond, fire pits, and plenty of lawn games.

  • Kids are welcome. This weekend is designed primarily with adults in mind, but little ones are invited to join the celebration.

  • Since there are no reliable Ubers/Lyfts in Lockhart, we are planning to arrange a shuttle or bus to and from the venue on the wedding day. More details will be shared once we have RSVP responses and final headcounts.

  • All events will take place outdoors. Dinner will be held under a covered structure, and the dance floor will also be covered. We will have a rain backup plan in place, though guests should expect some walking outdoors even in the event of rain.

  • The ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm. The property will be open to all guests throughout the day, so feel free to arrive earlier, come and go, and enjoy the space at your own pace.

  • We will be serving BBQ, after all we are celebrating in Lockhart, the BBQ capital of Texas. Vegan and vegetarian options will also be available.

  • Yes. We are hosting a family happy hour and a casual welcome party on Friday evening. Full details can be found on the Schedule page.
